Iranian clients visited China to learn more about low coal seam mining technology and reached a cooperation intention with ALPHA.

In late June, ALPHA warmly welcomed a delegation from an Iranian state-owned enterprise. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on low coal seam comprehensive mining technology. The visit aimed to learn from the advanced longwall mining practices in China to enhance the mining efficiency and safety of Iranian coal mines.

The delegation introduced the basic situation of their company's coal mines: the coal seam has a minimum average thickness of approximately 0.5 meters, with total reserves of 78.4 million tons. The main type of coal is coking coal. This shows significant challenges for mining technology, requiring specialized low coal seam mining techniques to achieve efficient and safe mining.

Advanced Low Coal Seam Mining Technology

Low coal seam fully mechanized mining technology is one of ALPHA's core technologies, specifically designed for coal seams with a thickness of less than 1 meter. This technology significantly improves mining efficiency and reduces resource waste. It includes high-precision fully mechanized mining equipment and automated control systems, enabling safe and efficient coal mining under complex geological conditions.

The longwall mining method is an important component of low coal seam fully mechanized mining technology. By setting up a long mining face along the strike of the coal seam and using fully mechanized equipment for continuous mining along the face, it enables efficient recovery of coal resources. This technology not only enhances production efficiency but also reduces safety risks during the mining process.

During the visit, ALPHA led the Iranian delegation to tour several domestic mining projects that employ low coal seam fully mechanized mining technology. The delegation learned in detail about the operation of the coal mining machine and the operation process, and they highly praised the technology's advancement and practicality.

 

Additionally, both parties had in-depth discussions on various aspects including the basic information of the client's coal mines, mining technology requirements, low coal seam fully mechanized mining technology, and overall strategic cooperation for coal mine development. Through this discussion, the Iranian delegation gained a more comprehensive understanding of ALPHA's technical strengths and looks forward to future collaboration. Both parties reached a preliminary agreement on project advancement, and the Iranian delegation sincerely invited the ALPHA team to visit Iranian coal mine sites for field inspection to further advance the project implementation.
