Longwall mining is a high-production underground coal mining technology.

ALPHA longwall mining consists of off-pan coal shearers, armored face conveyors, crushers, powered hydraulic roof-supports and counter-part systems. It makes thin coal seam mining fully mechanized.

Separated components of longwall fully mechanized mining cannot reach the same production level. High and cost-effective production can only be found in this integrated mining system.

Developed haulage off pan shearer, for the first time achieved a minimum limit of thin seam mining height 0.56m mechanized mining. Successfully widely used in ultra low coal seam below 800mm.

The application of the technology, coal face yields 1.8 times, mining efficiency increased by 3.38 times, tons of coal production cost was reduced by 63%.

Cutting heights available to accommodate seam heights ranges from 0.45 to 2.5 meters

Off Pan Shearer for Ultra Low Coal Seam
Mining height: 0.50~0.95m   |   Web depth: 0.65~0.95mm
It is used for mining of super ultra low coal seam. Corollary equipment usually is SGB420/30 or SGD420/22 scraper conveyor and single hydraulic prop.
